About

The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) is seeking a supplier to deliver on-farm veterinary biosecurity advice to cattle farms across Northern Ireland to support bovine tuberculosis (bTB) eradication. Veterinarians will work collaboratively with farmers to systematically identify the key factors contributing to disease entry, persistence and spread on individual farm enterprises, generate clear, targeted farm-specific biosecurity actions to address those risks, and promote sustained adoption of improved practices through farmer engagement. The programme is voluntary and the supplier must promote and provide an accessible, user-friendly phone and online mechanism for farmers to register interest and request on-farm visits; suppliers should refer to the Specification Schedule for full contract requirements.
