About

Connecting the Culm (CtC) and National Highways are seeking a supplier for nature-based solutions at two sites—Mountstephen Farm and Little Turberfield, both near Tiverton Parkway—to improve water quality in the Spratford Stream by filtering sediment and pollutants from a National Highways M5 motorway outfall and to increase biodiversity across the Spratford Stream catchment. The work will use the National Highways HEWRAT tool to determine the scale and size of mitigation measures and forms part of the long-running CtC programme, which has an existing 25-year Blueprint and complementary projects including Network Rail, DRIP and Grant in Aid.
