HQIP is seeking a supplier to deliver the National Clinical Audit of Psychosis for NHS‑funded care in England and Wales, focused on Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) services over an initial three‑year period. The contract has an initial maximum core budget of up to £1,523,232 GBP including VAT (£1,269,360 excl. VAT); bids exceeding this core value will be rejected, with a potential two‑year extension available at £507,744 per year including VAT (£423,120 excl. VAT) and a total potential ceiling including aspirational intent of £9,231,961 including VAT. The supplier will build on existing audit achievements to stimulate healthcare improvement by providing timely, high‑quality information benchmarked against national standards (for example NICE), producing near real‑time interactive metrics, an annual state of the nation report and infographic, quality improvement resources, outlier identification/notification and one‑off organisational reports. The audit will prioritise routinely collected electronic patient record data and routine datasets (for example HES and MHSDS), explore data linkage, strengthen SNOMED coding guidance for EIP, minimise local data entry burden, protect patient privacy, and engage clinicians, patients, commissioners and regional networks to support local improvement.
