The Governing Body of St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is seeking a Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) registered provider, or a provider willing to obtain CIW registration, to take a license to occupy school premises and independently establish and operate wraparound childcare on site. The successful provider must deliver a high-quality, play-based offer that reflects the school’s Catholic ethos and aligns with the four purposes of the Curriculum for Wales, operating a breakfast club (07:30–08:45), nursery-end provision (around 11:30), after school club (15:15–18:00) and a holiday club (07:30–18:00) for a minimum of 49 weeks per year, with clear safeguarding, booking, staffing and governance arrangements; the provider will pay a monthly rental fee of £1,000 (reviewed annually) and is responsible for cleaning and day-to-day operations while cooperating closely with the school on site rules, security, insurance and approvals for any works.
