The National Archives (TNA) is seeking a supplier for print publishing of legislation and associated documents under a Legislation Print Publishing Contract. The contract is planned for an initial two-year period with options to extend for three further 12-month periods (2+1+1+1), and the estimated maximum value over five years is circa £4,200,000 (inc. VAT). The Print Publishing Supplier will manage all aspects of print production for legislation, associated documents, annual bound volumes of legislation and legislative effects, Chronological Tables and correction slips, and ensure printed items are made available for sale with full order fulfilment and customer services including taking payment, handling enquiries and complaints, despatch and record keeping. Printing legislation is a statutory requirement so the service must meet exacting quality standards and prescribed, non-negotiable deadlines. The supplier will not handle online publishing but is responsible for the financial administration of publishing charges to government departments, including invoicing departments, chasing overdue invoices and transferring publishing fees to The National Archives quarterly; Invitation to Tender and Annexes 1–4 give full requirements and can be requested via [email protected].
