Milnbank Housing Association is seeking a supplier for a two-year contract to deliver annual gas servicing, reactive maintenance (including parts) and Legionnaires disease risk assessments to tenant-occupied properties in the Dennistoun and Haghill areas of Glasgow. The Legionnaires assessments will be carried out at the same time as each annual gas service, but inspections of water storage tanks are excluded because common tanks have been bypassed and properties are mains-fed; bidders will also not be required to enter loft spaces. Any repair or follow-up work identified by the Legionnaires assessments will be carried out by Milnbank’s existing specialist contractor rather than the contract holder. The contract runs from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2028 and also covers the recording, testing and servicing of existing smoke, heat and CO detectors; works may include variation unquantified Modelcodes referenced in Tender Documents 2 and 6. Subject to satisfactory performance measured against Key Performance Indicators (Tender Document 8), the contract may be extended annually up to a further three years, to a maximum overall period of five years.
