Derbyshire County Council is seeking a supplier for a Framework Agreement to deliver non-strategic carriageway resurfacing and minor ancillary works across the county, covering both rural and urban road networks. The Framework will provide a programme of resurfacing works, including kerbing, ironworks adjustment or replacement and associated activities, delivered through competitively awarded call-off contracts that range from routine short-duration schemes using standard construction methods and traffic management to more complex projects involving deeper reconstruction, challenging site conditions and enhanced stakeholder coordination. The Framework supports DCC's duty to maintain a safe and reliable highway network while aiming for best value, improved productivity and minimised disruption; contractors are expected to demonstrate strong performance in safety, carbon reduction, waste minimisation and social value to contribute to resilient infrastructure, improved journey reliability and positive outcomes for Derbyshire communities and economy.
