Cabinet Office, on behalf of the Central Chancery of the Orders of Knighthood, is seeking suppliers to establish a framework for the provision of medals and insignia that form part of the UK state honours system. The opportunity comprises 91 lots (notice populated as three groupings: lots 1–46, 47–90 and 91) with preferred supplier (PS), first tier contingency supplier (FTCS) and reserve contingency supplier (RCS) appointments intended for lots 1–90; suppliers appointed to any of lots 1–90 in PS, FTCS or RCS capacity will automatically be appointed to lot 91 and may take part in further competitions for lot 91, which currently has no specification. Some CPV codes and certain technical elements (for example pearls, enamels and glazing) do not apply to all lots and full technical specifications and lot allocation rules are set out in the procurement documents. The Authority is using a multi-stage competitive flexible procedure under section 20(2)(b) of the Procurement Act 2023 and invites suppliers to submit a request to participate; the Authority and/or Buyer also reserve the right to obtain additional or repeat goods and services from existing suppliers in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023.
