A supplier is sought to carry out flood control measures to prevent future flooding of the Episkopi Sewage Treatment Plant in the Happy Valley area of British Forces Cyprus. Works comprise construction of a 140.00 m retaining wall (first 45.00 m at 1.50 m height; remaining 85.00 m at 2.00 m height) with a 1.00 m foundation immersed for erosion protection and riverbed regrading, channel widths minimum 7.00 m for the first 55.00 m and 4.00 m for the remaining 85.00 m; construction of a gabion check dam about 60.00 m upstream of the main road in accordance with design drawings; and installation of a new 0.80 m diameter, 50.00 m long culvert through the horse stables to prevent flooding of stable facilities. The project currency is Euro (€), location is Episkopi (Happy Valley), Cyprus, and provisional key dates run from Expression of Interest on 19 January 2026 to Completion of Work on 2 October 2026. Access to HSW areas requires valid security passes (only available to Greek Cypriots, Turkish Cypriots or UK nationals), personnel will be escorted on site, and mobile phones or other electronic devices are not permitted during works.

This opportunity is suited to civil contractors experienced in riverbank/retaining wall construction, gabion check dams and culvert installation who can work on secure British Forces sites. Key considerations include nationality-based security pass restrictions, escorted and device-restricted site access, adherence to supplied design drawings for the check dam, and the stated provisional project schedule.
