About

EPSRC is seeking a supplier for specialist training to strengthen Panel Convenors’ knowledge, confidence and ability to intervene when needed to ensure fair and objective decision making when convening funding panels. The contract covers designing, delivering and iteratively improving training content for EPSRC staff who convene and run peer review panels, building internal capability to manage panel processes, mitigate risks of bias and support consistent, transparent leadership in line with EPSRC governance requirements, UKRI’s Principles of Peer Review and EPSRC’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Action Plans, with the aim of creating a lower-pressure environment where convenors have the cognitive space and autonomy to act effectively.
