Contracts for Innovation Cymru is seeking suppliers to develop, adapt and demonstrate existing technologies, products, platforms, services or rehabilitation approaches that improve rehabilitation, recovery and long-term support for stroke survivors across Wales and reduce feelings of abandonment after hospital discharge. This Phase 2 competition is outcome-focused and does not prescribe a specific technology or delivery model; it seeks solutions with an established foundation that can be adapted, enhanced or configured to improve equity of access—including for rural, remote, underserved and seldom-heard communities—and to generate practical evidence on patient and carer outcomes, rehabilitation outcomes, user experience, service and workforce impact, affordability and sustainability, adoption readiness and future scalability. Applicants must describe what they will deliver, how it will be tested and evaluated, how impact will be measured, and provide a core delivery plan to 31 March 2027 plus an outline proposal for a potential further stage beyond April 2027; the competition has a total provisional budget of £300,000 to support a portfolio of projects and any additional funding beyond April 2027 is not guaranteed.
