About

Southend-on-Sea City Council is seeking a contractor to design and refurbish the play area at Belfairs Park. The works include removal and/or refurbishment of existing end-of-life play equipment and surfacing and the installation of new natural timber-based play equipment that reflects and complements the surrounding environment to create an inclusive, accessible play area offering a range of active, engaging, age-appropriate play opportunities. The Council has secured £149,000 of capital funding for the project and the contract will be awarded under the JCT 2024 Minor Works Building Contract with Contractor's Design as set out in the Employer's Requirements, Specification and accompanying tender documents.
