Newry, Mourne & Down District Council is seeking a supplier for the design, coordination and delivery of a cross-community festival programme that culminates in a Heritage Collection showcasing the historic churches, chapels and meeting houses across the Slieve Gullion District Electoral Area. The commission is part of the PEACEPLUS Partnership’s 'Thriving Together' Action Plan, developed through a co-design approach with comprehensive engagement of the local community and key stakeholders including statutory providers, public bodies, businesses and Council DEA Forums.

This opportunity may suit community arts organisations, heritage organisations or event producers with experience in cross-community engagement and heritage interpretation. Key considerations include delivering genuine co-design and stakeholder engagement across multiple community groups and public bodies, and managing sensitive interpretation of historic religious sites.
