Released 5 months ago
About
Anglian Water is seeking a strategic desalination adviser to provide desalination-specific expertise on process, sustainability (ESG and energy efficiency) and lessons learned from comparable programmes, and to bring market insight from contractors, investors and the supply chain to inform programme strategy and innovation. The adviser will support definition of the overall cross-programme strategy and delivery model for concurrent desalination projects, help establish an enduring operating model with clear roles, responsibilities and interfaces between Anglian Water and the CAP(s), and identify cross-project synergies, efficiencies and portfolio prioritisation. The role includes acting as a strategic adviser to the Major Programme Delivery Senior Leadership Team to strengthen governance and decision-making and provide independent challenge as a critical friend, giving strategic input on commercial approaches including PPP considerations and desalination-specific risks, supporting business case development, options analysis and regulatory submissions, and guiding stakeholder engagement and public acceptance strategies. The adviser will also identify, assess and mitigate programme risks to maintain delivery momentum and support capability development within Anglian Water through knowledge transfer, tools and best-practice frameworks.
