Cumberland Council is inviting organisations to attend online information sessions to support delivery and future procurement of Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme activities and Short Breaks for children and young people with disabilities across Cumberland. The sessions will explain changes to how organisations apply for and access opportunities and provide practical guidance on registering and using the Council's procurement and commissioning systems, including the Central Digital Platform (CDP) and The Chest Procurement Portal. Organisations currently delivering HAF or Short Breaks and those interested in becoming providers—including voluntary and community groups, charities, sports clubs, arts and leisure providers and specialist organisations supporting children and young people with disabilities—are encouraged to attend. Information for the session on the 3rd November will follow; this session will include different content to the session on the 8th and, if possible, attendance at both is encouraged. The attached information sheet contains full details of the session, including what will be covered, who should attend and how to register, and you can contact the Council if you have any questions.
