About

Construction company needed to build a new enclosure over the existing housings containing High Voltage (HV) Transformers Tx8 and Tx9 and the Low Voltage (LV) switchgear that converts HV supply into LV power for feeding distribution boards in the buildings they serve. The enclosure will safeguard the electrical supply to the BBSRC National Vaccinology Centre, the Jenner Building, and the new Centre for Veterinary Vaccine Innovation and Manufacturing (CVIM), and will also support future developments and facilities requiring power from either Tx8 or Tx9.
