Norfolk County Council Public Health is seeking a supplier for a community-based Level 2 Sexual Health Service to provide assessment, testing and treatment of symptomatic but uncomplicated sexually transmitted infections (STIs) for the South Norfolk/Breckland locality. The service will build on existing primary care-based sexual health provision to improve local access—particularly in rural and geographically dispersed communities—and to integrate with Norfolk sexual health pathways, laboratory services and referral arrangements. The contract is proposed for four years with an indicative annual value of approximately £103,500 (estimated total £414,000) and is expected to operate on an activity-based payment model; procurement is being undertaken under Direct Award Process B of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. Interested providers should be able to demonstrate an appropriate delivery model and geographical footprint, sufficient workforce capacity and resilience, clinical capability, robust clinical governance and safeguarding arrangements, experience delivering sexual health/STI services, and ability to provide accessible services across the South Norfolk/Breckland locality; providers will be invited to provide information on capability, capacity and proposed delivery model.
