The Council is seeking a supplier for the collection and treatment (including disposal) of abandoned tyres from three waste transfer stations at Waterbeach, March and Alconbury. Work includes routine removal of tyres delivered to these WTSs (each site is permitted to store a maximum of 300 tyres), occasional collection and disposal of large fly-tip deposits (normally more than 30 tyres), and provision of appropriate equipment including lifting aids so that site staff are not required to load vehicles.

This could suit waste management or tyre disposal contractors with equipment and capacity to service multiple sites and handle occasional large fly-tip removals. Key considerations are coordinating collections across the three locations, operating within each WTS's 300-tyre permitted storage limit, and supplying your own lifting and loading equipment so site staff need not assist.
