Tender: Co-production and Engagement Service for Adult Social Care – Essex County Council
Released 4 months ago
About
Essex County Council is seeking a supplier for a co-production and engagement service to support Adult Social Care (ASC) across Essex. The contract will bring existing co-production services into a single unified model to provide a coordinated approach to engagement, operating within the Authority’s statutory duties under the Care Act 2014 and its commitment to person-centred, inclusive service design. Key elements include maintaining and strengthening engagement with adults, carers and people with lived experience; providing structured mechanisms such as locality networks, a lived experience forum and engagement activities; capturing and using insight to inform policy, commissioning and service improvement; expanding participation and representation including seldom-heard groups; and supporting the embedding of co-production within ASC governance, assurance and decision-making. The procurement is managed via the Open system, with clarifications to be submitted through Open and training materials available at https://www.open-hub.org/how-to-guides/. The published contract notice value includes anticipated optional extension periods, and the opportunity is classified under ProClass code 111230 - Social Care.
