IDeA is seeking a supplier to produce one short, high-quality animated video, with an option to commission up to four further videos, as part of the Negotiation Support Package (NSP) for the Adult Social Care Fair Pay Agreement. Working through the Department of Health and Social Care and supported by sector partners including ADASS, the NSP aims to increase awareness and understanding of the proposed Fair Pay Agreement process that will establish national negotiation of pay, terms, conditions and career development for eligible adult social care workers in England. The videos will form part of a wider outreach and engagement campaign and must explain complex information clearly and accessibly using only factual policy and legal content provided or approved by IDeA; they must not provide legal advice, employee-facing pay guidance or independent interpretations of policy. Primary audiences are adult social care employers and organisations (including large providers, SMEs, micro-providers, voluntary sector organisations, individual employers, provider bodies and employer representative networks), with secondary audiences such as councils, commissioners, NHS trusts, workforce leads, trade unions, DHSC and other sector partners. The overall objective is to improve sector readiness and understanding of the Fair Pay Agreement process and the role of the Adult Social Care Negotiating Body in a sector comprised of around 18,000 providers and 1.7 million workers.
