Council is seeking a supplier to deliver an Advocacy Service Hub that fulfils the Council's statutory duties by providing: independent mental health advocacy; independent mental capacity advocacy and Liberty Protection Safeguards Relevant Person Representative (RPR) services; Care Act and generic advocacy; independent NHS complaints advocacy; and children’s advocacy. The Hub will support vulnerable individuals to live independently for longer in the community, maximise independence, choice and control, and actively participate in decisions about their care and treatment. It will provide easy access to information, advice and signposting in a range of accessible formats such as Easy Read, large print, audio, and multiple languages, and will offer interpretation and translation services where required. The service will also engage underrepresented groups by working closely with community organisations and outreach networks and ensure individuals understand their rights, can express their wishes, and fully participate in decisions about their care and support.
