About

Wyre Council is seeking Registered Providers to deliver high-quality new affordable homes on a cleared 0.12-acre site at Adelaide Street, Fleetwood. The site has extant planning permission for a four-storey building comprising 18 self-contained apartments with ground-floor commercial units, though the Council envisages the site as entirely residential and notes the scheme will likely need re-design and a fresh planning application. Wyre Council is not a stock holding authority and requires the successful Registered Provider to deliver the homes and retain them in their portfolio in perpetuity. The affordable housing should complement the neighbouring Fleetwood Market and be designed in harmony with the conservation area; the Council invites informal expressions of interest outlining a vision for delivery.
