Tree Surveys and Works for VIVID Across Aldershot, Basingstoke, Eastleigh & Portsmouth

About

VIVID awarded a contract to R G Consultancy Ltd t/as Ruskins Tree Consultancy Ltd for surveying all communal trees across four key areas of operation: Aldershot, Basingstoke, Eastleigh, and Portsmouth.

The contract involves breaking down each area into smaller survey zones, typically by estate or ward, and includes Local Authority Planning checks for Tree Preservation Orders and Conservation Areas, as well as completing planning applications and notifications to gain consent for works.

A fundamental part of the contract is competitively tendering and procuring immediate and high-risk tree surgery works arising from the survey, including managing and coordinating approved contractors to complete work to a programme.

The contract also requires digital enablement using ESRI GIS to map and capture existing and new trees and their attributes, with software that interfaces seamlessly.

The contract value is £2,130,000.
