About

London Borough of Bromley awarded a contract to Kinship for the provision of support services to kinship carers, including special guardians.

The contract, valued at £238,243.4, covered the delivery of community-based peer support groups (online and face-to-face), a telephone/online advice service, in-depth 1:1 support for 40 special guardians or other kinship carers, and a dedicated local project worker for two days per week to build relationships between carers and the Local Authority, undertake needs assessments, identify lower-level support, and facilitate access to training and informal social events.
