About

Birmingham City Council awarded a contract to Integrated Skills Limited for the provision of Route Smart Vehicle routing solution that integrates with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop to allow route optimisation of operations such as waste collection.

The software is used for strategic planning and operational routing of waste and recycling collection routes, capable of providing balanced and geographically compact routes which maximise stops and lifts per hour, reduce route planning time and improve safety compliance.

It also optimises routes for street cleansing activities, gully cleansing, grounds maintenance and other local authority services.

The contract is for a period of 3 years, from 01/04/2021 to 31/03/2024, with a value of AUD 55,140.
