About

Leicestershire County Council awarded a contract to BWOC for the bulk purchase and management of EN590 white road-grade diesel, delivered into the bunker network operated by UK Fuels, to support its Passenger Fleet Transport operations.

The fleet provides transportation for service users, including vulnerable adults and children to special educational needs or disability establishments.

Council staff access the purchased fuel via fuel cards issued by providers such as UK Fuels from multiple forecourts across the UK.

The contract, valued at £1,118,000, ensures uninterrupted fuel availability essential to maintain service quality and reliability.

Extensions may be granted based on satisfactory performance, value for money, and adherence to budgetary constraints.
