Supply and Installation of Playground Equipment at Collingwood Recreation Playground by London Borough of Sutton

About

London Borough of Sutton awarded a contract to KOMPAN Ltd for the supply and installation of playground equipment at Collingwood Recreation Playground.

The project involved providing an interesting range of play equipment aimed at the junior age group from 7 to 12+, including at least two inclusive items.

The equipment included an accessible basket swing, a rocking rotating item, a climbing item that can challenge young people with different levels of ability, an accessible larger spinning item for the older age group that can accommodate more than one child, and a large climbing item such as a tower with another area of interest like a track ride.

The existing small playground was extended to the right to accommodate the additional items, achieving a minimum of five items.

The contract value was £75,000.
