About

Imperial War Museums awarded a contract to OCS Ltd for the supply and installation of a new fire alarm system at IWM London.

The project involved replacing existing fire alarm installation devices and control panels with new open protocol Apollo SIL Discovery devices and an Advanced Electronics Ltd MxPro5 loop fire alarm system, complete with interface modules to interlock with the existing PA/VA system, boiler, chiller, HVAC plant, VESDA systems, lifts, and door access systems.

Existing wiring was tested and reused, and loop wiring and device addresses were checked, verified, and amended as necessary to correspond with updated record drawings prepared as part of the works.

The contract value was £105,735.6.
