Study on UK-Brazil Climate Partnership for British Embassy in Brazil

About

The Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office awarded a contract to SITAWI (legal name Koan - Finanças Sustentáveis Ltda) for a study on a UK-Brazil climate partnership for the British Embassy in Brazil.

The contract, valued at AUD 47,218.11, supports the Partnership Engagement Budget (PEB), a subset of the ICF's Partnership approach, which provides non-pay budget to deliver partnership engagement activity complementing existing human resources in London and at Post.

The aims include facilitating the successful delivery and co-ordination of ICF programmes in partner countries to realise greater impact and UK recognition, supporting an increase in the ambition of NDCs in partner countries and improving the wider political environment for successful NDC implementation.

The PEB objectives fall under the KEEP framework's engagement pillar, which seeks to strengthen UK visibility and influence with decision makers and support the building of more permanent coalitions and development initiatives, underlining the UK's thought leadership role in wider international climate finance flows.
