About
London Borough of Hackney awarded a contract to GEORGE BROWNS LIMITED for the purchase of a new 110Hp tractor to replace an aging 90HP tractor used in parks and greenspaces.
The old tractor was in poor condition and frequently broke down, causing works schedules to be missed and impacting maintenance standards.
The new tractor, equipped with a gang unit, will be used to cut nearly 70 percent of grass across the Borough's 28 Green Flag parks.
The contract value is AUD 42,000.
