Replacement of Havant Footbridge over Railway in Hampshire
Awarded 31 Aug 2025
About
Hampshire County Council awarded a contract to John Graham Construction Limited for the removal of the existing Havant Footbridge and provision of a new footbridge meeting current standards with access for all.
The original 1947 footbridge, which crosses the railway at Havant and connects the Civic Centre Campus, Havant College, and Leigh Park to Havant Town Centre, Bus Station, and Havant Park, had deteriorated and was no longer cost-effective to repair.
The contract was called off from the Pagabo National Civils and Engineering Framework via Lot 2, with a value of AUD 500,000.
