About

Eastern Procurement Limited awarded a contract to MITIE Property Services (UK) Limited for the refurbishment of Carrow House at 301 King Street, Norwich, Norfolk, NR1 2TN.

The project involved construction and refurbishment works on two main parts: a 1960s office block (New Carrow House) and Old Carrow House, a historic Grade II listed building.

The works were delivered as part of the East Norwich Masterplan under the Government funded Towns Deal programme.

The contract was re-tendered after previous tenders exceeded the available budget, with the re-tendered package largely the same but including a number of works labelled as 'optional' to allow the client to appoint on core works and select optional packages based on budget.

The contract value was £1,547,635.55.
