Redecoration of Cladding at Lymm and Alsager Fire Stations
Awarded 10 Aug 2021
About
Cheshire Constabulary on behalf of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire awarded a contract to Bell Decorating Group Ltd for the redecoration of all Larch cladding at Lymm and Alsager Fire Stations.
The work included applying wood stain to pre-treated cladding and framing at Lymm Fire Station, which had not been decorated since its construction circa 2016 and was showing signs of breakdown.
At Alsager Fire Station, the cladding had severely silvered and required general repairs, including fixing back boards.
A sample of wood stain was required for approval in advance of any works, and all works were to be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's specification.
The contract value was AUD 25,129.
