About

UK Shared Business Services Limited awarded a contract to University of the Arts London for the recruitment of a catalyst to investigate the environmental science aspects of building a circular fashion economy.

The catalyst report is intended to inform the scoping of a cross-UKRI intervention in circular fashion and textiles, with emphasis on understanding the potential contribution of environmental sciences.

The objectives include understanding current UK environmental research capacity, alignment with industrial barriers and market failures, highlighting specific environmental research areas and intervention types, proposing an overarching mechanism and logic model for a prospective UKRI research programme, and understanding longer-term trend assumptions.

The contract value is £22,690.
