Public Art Plan and Delivery at Badbury Heights, Blandford Forum
Awarded 21 Jul 2019
About
Blandford Forum Town Council awarded a contract to Circling the Square for the provision of public art at the Badbury Heights housing development.
The project was funded by a £52,000 allocation from Persimmon Homes to North Dorset District Council (now Dorset Council), with the contract value set at AUD 47,000.
The Town Council led the project to meet funding deadlines, creating a Public Art Plan in consultation with the Town Council and forming a working group of councillors, Blandford Arts Society, The Blandford School art department, and residents.
Two consultations informed the design brief.
