About

University of Southampton awarded a contract to SEATS SOFTWARE LIMITED for the provision of an engagement monitoring software solution to track academic engagement of students on campus, off campus, and online.

The solution supports compliance with the Home Office (UKVI) academic engagement policy introduced on 5 October 2020, which requires sponsors to ensure sponsored students are academically engaged throughout their course, including attending lectures, seminars, tutorials, laboratory work, research, fieldwork, submitting assignments, and examinations.

The software is designed to be simple for students to use and provide visibility of collected engagement data, enabling the university to collect required data, use appropriate technology, and report quickly and efficiently.

The contract value is AUD 809,995.
