Proof of Concept for Real-Time Construction Safety Risk Monitoring via 3D/4D Model and IoT Integration
Awarded 02 Jul 2023
About
Health & Safety Executive awarded a contract to Asite 3D Repo Limited for a proof of concept trial linking two existing technologies to identify exclusion zones on 3D or 4D construction models in the 3D Repo Safetibase platform and connect them in real time to sensors monitoring incursions during the construction phase.
The solution aims to identify possible risk areas in the model and report coordinates to an IoT measurement system via an API connection, with incidents reported back to the digital twin to tie incidents to risks, enabling users to quantify incidents over time and relate them to risks identified at previous stages.
The contract value is £99,950.
