About

The Pirbright Institute awarded a contract to Grationeer Ltd for project management services related to the ISO 11 incinerator life extension project at its facility in Pirbright, Surrey.

The contract, valued at £89,730, covered the management of ten work packages, including replacement of the incinerator control system, continuous emissions monitoring system, refractory lining upgrades, diesel fuel system upgrades, technical assessments (HAZOP, LOPA, SIL), catch box upgrades, hydraulic system upgrades, commissioning and environmental testing, and coordination of principal contractor and designer roles under CDM 2015, as well as legal representation.

The project aimed to ensure the incinerator operates safely and reliably for a minimum of 10 years, addressing issues identified in the HAZOP study.
