About

Historic England awarded a contract to Northern Heart Films for the production of three videos documenting projects funded by the Everyday Heritage Grants across England.

Each video focuses on a grant recipient, sharing hidden histories and stories from underrepresented communities, with light reference to Historic England's grants.

The videos are intended to be evergreen.

There are 57 funded projects, and final grant recipients and stories will be chosen post-tender with Historic England's Content team.

Leading candidates include 'Gwenda's Garage: the Untold Story of Lesbian Mechanics' by Out of the Archive CIC, 'Home of Metal - Grindcore at the Mermaid' by Capsule, and 'The Landladies of Morecambe' by Morecambe Heritage.

The contract value is £25,000.
