The Electoral Commission awarded a contract to Content on Demand for the creation of a series of short animations and videos demonstrating how to complete ballot papers for the various elections held across the UK on 5 May 2016.

The purpose was to provide a simple, quick, and easily shareable alternative to static text content on the Commission's website, aiming to reduce voter confusion, particularly where multiple elections took place in some areas.

The animations were also designed to be accessible to 16-17 year olds voting in Scotland for the first time, with formats suitable for mobile devices and social media.

The contract value was £24,156.
