About

National Highways awarded a contract to Arcadis for a pre-due diligence readiness assessment to evaluate the project's preparedness to transition from a government organisation to a project-financed asset entity (LTC-Co).

Over an initial four-week period, a dedicated team was to conduct a deep dive into construction and operations readiness, assessing management structures, schedules, resource capabilities, contractor strategies, health and safety compliance, quality assurance, and operational handover planning.

The assessment was informed by structured interviews, comprehensive document reviews, and targeted workshops with key LTC delivery and interface leads, culminating in clear, actionable recommendations to support a successful transition.

The contract value was AUD 70,000.
