Media Buying for London Cancer Screening Campaign by NHS England

About

NHS England awarded a contract to Manning Gottlieb OMD for media buying to support a social marketing campaign aimed at increasing cancer screening attendance in London.

The campaign, designed and delivered by M&C Saatchi, Wavemaker, and MMC, addresses behavioral barriers such as fatalism, fear/stigma, and lack of access to tests, while enhancing enablers like messages that screening saves lives and advice on what to expect.

It comprises three components: a pan-London above-the-line marketing campaign targeting all eligible women, direct marketing to low-uptake groups including young women, ethnic minorities, and women with learning disabilities, and stakeholder engagement with screening providers, charities, cancer alliances, ICSs, and general practices.

The contract value is AUD 720,000.
