About
Highways England awarded a contract to Arup for additional tasks to support a cross-collaboration proof of concept with Network Rail involving flown remote sensing surveys using hyperspectral imagery, LiDAR, and RGB photogrammetry in Area 14.
The contract, valued at AUD 147,400, extended the original proof of concept completion from March 2019 to September 2019 to allow for validation of the hyperspectral, LiDAR, and aerial photography data.
The work also included knowledge transfer and technical skills building for Highways England personnel, as well as assistance with stakeholder engagement to communicate project objectives, benefits, progress, and outcomes.
