About

Cumbria County Council awarded a contract to NOT AWARDED for housing support linked to short term accommodation for young people in Allerdale and Copeland, valued at AUD 218,170.

The service supports young people and adults across the county, with specifications updated to reflect the Care Act 2014's emphasis on preventing or postponing the need for support and promoting wellbeing.

Key requirements include equitable and flexible allocation of support, a joined-up multi-agency approach, pathways to independent living, flexible staff working hours, personalised support plans focused on outcomes, and support for maintaining tenancies after leaving short term accommodation.

These changes occur within a context of reduced funding.
