About
Defra Network eTendering Portal awarded a contract to Small Woods Association for conducting a farmer-led Environmental Land Management (ELM) trial across England.
The trial explored and tested ways to overcome barriers to positive management of small woodlands on farms and the wider landscape, both rural and peri-urban, and increase realisation of their environmental potential.
It tested advice provision, land management planning approaches, collaboration scenarios and incentives to encourage behaviour change, across seven regions of England and with a range of stakeholders.
The contract value was AUD 113,479.
