Development of Apprentice e-Portfolio System for Greater Manchester Combined Authority
Awarded 26 Nov 2021
About
Greater Manchester Combined Authority awarded a contract to MWS Technology Ltd for the development of an Apprenticeship e-Portfolio system.
The contract, valued at £50,212, covers the creation of a cohesive cloud-based platform to support the delivery of apprenticeships within the authority.
The platform is designed to provide a structured way of delivering tasks to apprentices based on the apprenticeship framework and to allow audit by managers, Internal Quality Assurers (IQA), External Quality Assurers (EQA), and End Point Assessment Organisations (EPAO).
The Greater Manchester Combined Authority became an apprenticeship employer-provider in May 2017, and since January 2018, all new firefighter recruits have undertaken the Level 3 Operational Firefighter Apprenticeship Standard, which typically takes between 24-30 months to complete.
