About
The Department for Education awarded a contract to Babcock 4S for the design and development of content for two new national workshops as part of the Governors Development initiative, aimed at improving the effectiveness of governing boards in state-funded educational institutions in England that provide education to pupils of compulsory school age.
The contract, valued at AUD 25,000, required the successful bidder to be familiar with the needs and demands of the governor audience and with policy themes, particularly their governance implications, and to have experience in writing high-quality training content for school governors drawn from up-to-date research and policy.
