About

Home Office awarded a contract to Enlighten Training and Consultancy Ltd for the design and delivery of a comprehensive training course to three groups within the Offensive Weapons Homicide Reviews (OWHR) pilot areas.

The training targeted independent chairs, review partners (including Police, Local Authorities, and Clinical Commissioning Groups in England/Local Health Boards in Wales), and OWHR Oversight Board members across London, the West Midlands, and Wales.

The pilot estimated training for approximately 40 review partners, 30 independent chairs, and up to 10 oversight board members.

The supplier was required to ensure participants fully engaged with the course and demonstrated competence through a test upon completion.

Virtual training was preferred due to the geographic spread of participants, though the delivery method could be agreed upon contract commencement.

The contract value was £99,835.
