About
NHS England awarded a contract to the Royal College of Physicians for the delivery of the RCP Gender Identity Healthcare Credentials course for 2024/25.
The 13-month contract, valued at £160,000, has no options.
The course, developed by the RCP with the University of London as the awarding body, is the first qualification of its type in the UK and worldwide.
Its key aims are to train the next generation of clinical leaders and skilled healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in gender identity healthcare in adult services, responding to new delivery models of care and increasing patient demand, and to support the development of gender identity health services provided by the NHS.
