About

The Department for Education awarded a contract to IFF Research for the design and delivery of a biannual omnibus survey of classroom teachers and senior leaders in maintained schools in England.

The contract, valued at £260,503, involved conducting two survey waves to collect data from a stratified random sample, achieving at least 1,800 responses per wave.

The survey used a mixed-mode approach (telephone and online) with 25-35 questions, including 3-6 demographic questions, and was at least 20 minutes long.

The contractor conducted cognitive interviews and pilot testing to ensure data quality and provided nationally representative results, including anonymised topline results, weighted data tables, a coded CSV data file, and PowerPoint slides.
